The Entreprise

La Fourmi Bionique produces a unique range of gourmet granola cereals. Refined and distinctive, our nourishing granola blends incorporate the beneficial properties of natural herbs such as the smooth texture of slippery elm or the fresh fields smell of marigold petals.

Our recipes are created to get the best out of nature and provide exceptional nutrition. No flavourings or colorants are used. So you really can get your day off to a healthy and balanced start, give your body the nourishment it needs and yourself a delicious treat.

The President and Founder

Geneviève Gagnon

Geneviève Gagnon has two bachelors degrees, one in psychology and one in communications. After working in public affairs and then as a consultant, she focused on event planning. So how did this communications specialist make the leap to being an entrepreneur? Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, she yearned to create and manage a business reflecting her values and based on her passion for food, cooking and culinary pleasures. Passionate about breakfast-time, Geneviève decided to develop a recipe for cereals combining taste with good health. Her biggest fans, her friends, encouraged her to explore this idea further. Meanwhile, a herbalist friend suggested various combinations of herbs. Several test runs later and La Fourmi Bionique family of granola blends was born.

Vice president marketing

Valérie Anne Gagnon

Valérie Anne, Geneviève's identical twin, studied in the arts field and then built a career in marketing. She joined La Fourmi Bionique in January 2005, rapidly becoming an indispensable resource for the development of new markets. She has proven to be a dedicated, committed partner making an enormous contribution to the development of the company in the space of just one year.
